Dear customers,
Dear partners,
Dear friends,
the objective of this European event is to offer a forum to IT managers, technical system professionals and application developers to learn from each other, provide and share their own experience reports, hear from IBM and its partners about new developments and solutions.
The balance and demand of your enterprise’s IT between efficiency, scalability, flexibility, security, and reliability has been for years the premises guiding the IBM zSystems and LinuxONE platforms. Many enterprises are thinking how to further optimize, simplify and integrate their IT by considering some kind (public, private or hybrid) of “cloud” deployment model. Several solutions available for different abstraction layers, across multiple platforms, are used to drive automation and agility with a similar user experience. Business data analysis with AI is key for enterprises to provide the best value to their customers. The IBM zSystems and LinuxONE platforms holding your most critical processes and data play a key role in this enablement, so the motto this year is:
“IBM zSystems celebrating 50 years of virtualization on the path to Hybrid Cloud and AI”
We will offer first-hand information about technology evolution and how you can gain advantages with your IT. We have built an agenda with very attractive topics. It covers new announcements, several international customer stories, IT optimization, Cloud and AI enablement topics for your enterprise and many other significant topics that reflect the potential of Virtualization with z/VM and KVM, using VSE and Linux on IBM zSystems platform to IT managers and IT professionals.
This year, the Technical University will be held in Mainz. Mainz is the capital and largest city of Rhineland-Palatinate (German: Rheinland-Pfalz), Germany. The town is located on the left-bank of the Rhine, opposite where the Main joins the Rhine.
It was founded by the Romans in the 1st century BC as a military fortress and became an important city in the 8th century AD as part of the Holy Roman Empire. Mainz is notable as a transport hub, for wine production, and for its many rebuilt historic buildings.
Please pass on this invitation to all your contacts that you know and might be interested in this Technical University Conference. The main sessions at this workshop will be held in English language. In addition, the German speaking VSE, z/VM, KVM and Linux on IBM zSystems working groups will run their workshops (VSE with a track in German and a parallel one in English, z/VM, KVM and Linux on IBM zSystems in English) as part of this European event.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in October 2022 in Mainz to continue the technical exchange and to further strengthen our international community.
Yours sincerely,
